With God, all things are possible

trumprallyWith God, all things are possible. Including the election to the most powerful position on Earth of a lawless violent narcissist swindler with no regard for reality, who supports the use of torture, thinks global warming is a scam, and boasts of molesting women.

This could not have happened without God. Or, at any rate, without the active support of His self-proclaimed representatives in small towns up and down America.

In return for what? In return for the promise of socially conservative judges who will overturn Roe v Wade on abortion or even Kitzmiller v Dover on the teaching of creationism? And will Trump actually do this, or will he treat his godly benefactors the way he has treated so many who have worked for him, and simply fail to pay?

But whatever happens as the result of the Trump presidency, remember to thank God for it.

  1. Ken Ham wrote on his facebook yesterday:
“Many people and much of the media are shocked and perplexed at the election results. What happened? How could polls be so wrong? Answer: God, not the media is in control: “For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God” (Romans 13:1).”

If the polls all get it wrong that shows to us that ‘God’ not pollsters is ‘in control’. The zealot also pretends that the media tried to ‘control’ the election because they published opinion polls. What utter rot. (And I don’t recall Ham predicting a Trump victory because God not pollsters/the horrible liberal media is ‘in control’.)

Ham’s view is not that Trump is ‘God’s man’ but that God has sent him to stop the evil Democrats.

Also there is this from Franklin Graham on his facebook page today:
“Did God show up? In watching the news after the election, the secular media keep asking “How did this happen?” “What went wrong?” “How did we miss this?” Some are in shock. Political pundits are stunned. Many thought the Trump/Pence ticket didn’t have a chance. None of them understand the God-factor.
Hundreds of thousands of Christians from across the United States have been praying. This year they came out to every state capitol to pray for this election and for the future of America. Prayer groups were started. Families prayed. Churches prayed. Then Christians went to the polls, and God showed up.
While the media scratches their heads and tries to understand how this happened, I believe that God’s hand intervened Tuesday night to stop the godless, atheistic progressive agenda from taking control of our country.
President-elect Donald J. Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence are going to need a lot of help and they will continue to need a lot of prayer. I pray that President-elect Trump will surround himself with godly men and women to help advise and counsel him as he leads the nation. My prayer is that God will bless America again!””

  2. Ken Ham knows how to say exactly what his donors want to hear. Notice that whether they love Trump or hate him, they will all agree with the good and pious Ham exhorting them to pray for the new President. Before the election Ham was careful to never quite endorse Trump—-but he chose his words in such a way that Trumpites would ASSUME that he was pro-Trump.

Yes, when it comes to fleecing their donors, origins-industry entrepreneurs like Ken Ham and Ray Comfort know exactly what to say to keep their donors loving them and rewarding them!
